D16y7 Fitment

I have a 98 LX with a d16y7 and I've got a DC Sports catback, H&R springs, and an AEM CAI and I wanna get a header but I dunno if it will bolt up. I'm pretty sure I will have to move the O2 sensor (where should I get new wire to extend the O2 sensor?)

Anyone ever tried a d16y8 header on a d16y7?

The header should fit fine,they are basicly the same engine. As far as the o2 wire make your own (IF you have to extend it). Just be sure to use good high heat solder and do your splice as far away from the header as possible. I'd use same color wire an some shrink tube to protect them when your done, tape in that area just wont hold up. To make it all realy look good use two diferent sizes of shrink tube, one size only big enough for the small wire and a second big enough to cover all. Good luck!!!
