d16y8 block need help

what block is almost same or if not better for stock d16y8.. my cuz spun a rod or bearing and is looking to try and swap block but will he need all new rods and pistons or what?

Don't understand that but you can get an a6 block with like 100xxx km on them. And iv seen them last till 450-600xxx km.

The y7 block is exactly the same as the y8 block. (you just have to tap for knock sensor if you want it)

I just sold a y7 block in perfect working condition with 120xxx on it for $125

You can get y7's for like $100 on craigslist. and that's with the head and everything
