i did the other way around swap i did the y8 head on a z6, the distributor and the v-tec solenoid r the only things that need to be changed so if u get a z6 head make sure it has the solenoid on the back of it, the distributor they changed from a 2 plug in obd1 to a 1 plug in obd2 so all u have to do is cut and splice the wires together they go to the same area and match up other than that it is a pretty easy to do
