hey guys need your help will this work?
any concerns i need to know???
only thing to worry about is electronics, such as the distributor and injectors being obd2 on the y8 and obd1 on the z6
The Y8 also has slightly smaller combustion chambers with more quench area.

i did the other way around swap i did the y8 head on a z6, the distributor and the v-tec solenoid r the only things that need to be changed so if u get a z6 head make sure it has the solenoid on the back of it, the distributor they changed from a 2 plug in obd1 to a 1 plug in obd2 so all u have to do is cut and splice the wires together they go to the same area and match up other than that it is a pretty easy to do
