D16y8 Head On A D16a6?

    hey i was wondering about whether or not the vtec head from a 96+ civic ex will fit my d16a6 which is from my 89 crx si. as you should know they are both sohc motors, so if it were to work, what ecu would i use??? thanks for helping me out.

    Its called a mini-me, just use the search, its cover a LOT :)

    Since your car is obd 0, its best to use the z6 head. Here is a short parts list

    z6 head + y8 gasket = ~140hp (it various with each setup)
    timing belt from the yr of the head.
    ecu, i suggest p28 and wire the car for obd 1

    I think that's it.. that was a quick list. Do a search for more indepth.
