d16y8 loss of power and knocking

So I was driving one day and my 93 civic had a sudden loss of power i barely made it home. When i parked it and opened the hood it was making a knocking sound thought a rod snapped in half ,but took it apart and the rods and crank look good. Does anybody else have any ideas.Thanks

yeah i think i spun bearing making piston 1 a little loose to wear when it goes up its hit the bottom of the head. thanks guys

id almost bet $100 that ur knock sensor on the back of the block came unplugged, broke off, or is defective. thats more than likely it....
