my 2000 honda civic motor blew up, i know the d16y8 engine is available from 96-00 but i was wondering are any other blocks interchangable with mine? if i get a similar block, which ones would work and would swap my head over? thanks

The D16z6 block would work with your head. Just check about wiring issues
