I have a wire on my sohc obd2 harness for the knock sensor I thought only B series had that but I must be mistaken. There is no sensor on the back of the block for it though so I will definately have to get it somewhere right? otherwise it will throw a code?

One other ? are the rear tranny T brackets the same on EGs and EKs or are they different.

your going to need a knock sensor theres a hole on the back of the block for it
it's right next to the oil presure switch unless it's not a y8 block

yeah there is a hole so that answers that question but what about the rear t bracket are EGs and EKs interchangeable?

the mount in the back will bolt up to the motor and tranny but where it mounts to the car i think there are different
