This question can't be answered without more information on your specific turbo setup.

turbo can boost up to 20 lbs(never will got that high), greddy intercooler, hks bov, crower stage 2 cam w/ the springs and retainers, i already mentioned the pistons....my real question is how much difference in boost is there with stock rods and forged ones...just wondering because if 12, or 15psi on occasion, is too much boost for my setup i just don't want to have to get my block machined to fit performance rods in it...i would like to eventually get 200 hp at the crank and was wondering if the stock rods can handle it

    D series Info

I have a d16y7 and i did head swap. D16Y7 to D16Y8 head to make it vtec. is it worth it to keep puting money in it? Coming from u would help because u have put money in urs. I only have headers, exhaust, cold air, and the head swap. Im wondering is it worth doing cams, rods, turbo and all this other shit or should i just do a engine swap. Also do u have mechanical problems since u have done so much to such a little engine? Because my vehicle is also my Daily driver.

well i couldn't tell you yet...i got some front end damage and never got a chance to put the turbo onto the car...i did ask around and do my research and with all the mods i have just sitting in my basement...lol...with the right psi i've heard i could get up to 220hp now i don't know if that fits your needs but that's all in theory how much the car should put out...when i get finished with the front end damage and get to put all my parts on i'll let you know what the dyno reads...also be aware that i have an automatic transmission so you'd probably make a little more hp and if i'm correct alot more torque

i'm sure all of those were with incredible tune's tho, some people say d-series rods can only hold up to about 230hp but from looking at those setups i don't really know what to tell you, if you're boosting check out turbod16.com i'm sure they'll be able to tell you
