D16Y8 Swap

This is my first time on this site. I did a D16Y8 swap in my '97 CX. When it starts up it revs at 2000. After it warms up it still idles at 1500. This seems a bit high to me? I'm still running with my stock throttle cable, would that make a difference? Any comments would be great.

i did this swap to my 96 dx..........there is 3 wires the back of you Idle Air Controller near the throttle body.....where the EX is normally a 3 wire...you need to rewire....i forgot the colors and where on the ecu you need to switch some wires.....you need to get a Haynes manual
