quick question i have a 97 civic DX and i just found out today its a EX enginde (d16y8) but my vtec solenoid is disconnected and honda dealer mechanic told me i need the EX wiring because i have the DX stock wiring and also i need a ECM. can i know the prices estimate?
 
Its going to be different all over the place, get craigslist, local pick a parts, and any local car forums you may have access to.
 
cause mechanic told me ecm would be $1000 and wiring $600 im like what!?
