i swapped another d16z6 into my 95 civic ex (EJ2) because i trashed the original motor. the swap went great and i've been driving it for a few months. the other day it dyed for no reason. popped the hood, then realized the alt belf is missing. wtf. the alt managed to work itself loose and the belt fell off. take in mind i didn't reinstall the p/s or a/c. basically i'm missing the alt belt tensioner nut and don't know the nut size / thread count for it. if anybody could relay this info i would greatly appreciate it. for those who are interested. i threw a few things on the motor. aem cai, dc 4:2:1 header + exhaust. comp (zex) stage 2 cam, springs (zex) and retainers, aem adj cam gear, msd sci and blaster coil, and accel wires. i could tension the alt belt without it, but don't want to take the chance and get stranded somewhere else again. thanks for reading my post.
