D16Z6 Compression

I was just thinking of swapping a z6 into my 91 hatch and i was looking at some 13 or 14:1 compression pistons. would this be good for an NA setup. if these are a good idea, any idea on how much horses i would be pushin?

Thats damn high compression, not likely on pump gas. I've seen people pull respectable #'s w/ 11.5:1 comp pistons, 93 octane, and a few bolt ons......

Can you go that high compression on a 4 cyl?????????

No. Not on pump gas anyway....

Ballinhatch - Just use some JDM DOHC ZC pistons in that motor. You will see about 12.5:1

Good Idea on that also..... ZC Pistons are great for all motor.
