d16z6 motor wrong ecu

May sound silly but if i use a p07 ecu which is vtec
on a d16z6 which i know needs a p28 ecu in a obd 1 93 civic coupe
can i mess anything up using the p07 until i get the p28
sorry new to this

i would say no it will not mess things up but the thing is i am not 100% sure on it but i think the p07 is for economy vtec so it engages at like 2500rpms and doesn't put out the power you should get don't take me 100% i am still learning about ecus

It won't mess anything up, but I would get the P28 ASAP.
