D16Z6 Rods!!

Hey everyone - I had a friend who ordered stock shot-peened rods for a D16Z6 with a T25 (a/r .48) turbo and I was wondering if I could get everyones opinion on whether or not I should order the same...here is a link for the ebay listing he won!! Give me some opinions. Thanks guys~

They are fairly inexpensive and are probably strong enough for what you need them for. But I always like to go to aftermarket forged rods because you can get a decent set that is inexpensive and going to hold up to way more abuse. The peace of mind is worth another $150 then having a bent rod or a hole in your block! Consider a set of eagles they are not very expensive and will hold up to what ever you throw at them.

Will these rods hold up to about 275 hp??

They might, but I wouldnt try it personally. Why risk it? If they do fail they could possibly destroy the whole bottom end.
