help me put in my d16z6 into my 98 civic lx. What kind of problems will I have. I already have someone to rewire my distributer, but is that all I will need. I know that I need to hook up the vtec solenoid. Will I need different axles? Any tips will help. or you can tell me that I am crazy. I have this motor already and it is built up somewhat so I just don't want to go out and get another one. help please!!

you need to change the dizzy, the alt, and the injectors to work with your lx's harness. cut/paste the plugs from the z6 harness onto the lx harness. you MUST use the stock harness (or any trim level for that matter for 96-98 civics) due to its design through the firewall.
you will need to run a 96-98 d16y8 computer form an EX.
axels will fit fine

its totally do able, but check local laws... 90% of the states, its illegal to put an older motor than the chassis in the car.
