i just purchased a 94 civic hatch w/d16z6 swap. yes it has a p28 ecu & yes my oil pressure is fine. im not new to hondas or vtec motors but this is my first swapped car, i love it. anyway vtec is not working. i believe this because the car wont redline, itll kick back about 6800-6900rpms. im gonna clean the solenoid tomorrow,any ideas on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated. i just pulled the ecu as well to check the wires and pinouts to make sure they're correct for the solenoid & pressure switch.
