D16Z6 Tranny on d15b7 engine

it has shorter gears then the dx/lx tranny and is better for acceleration

Shorter transmissions do not always mean lower MPG.

"Aquafina" got like 45mpg with MFactory short gearset and 4.7FD. Not sure what motor but it's a D-series.

I got 57mpg highway with a DOHC ZC transmission and 4.25FD, cruising around 3700-4000rpm. I/H/E and cammed D15B using P28 basemap.

It depends on the engine and tune. i have a y8 with a cam and i have gotten up to 55mpg, 40-45 avg.. it's all in how you drive it...
