hey there.. i got a D16Z6 engine with manual transmission, but with an ECU of an automatic. i got the pgm light always on because this ecu is for the automatic version. Anyways i was wondering if i used the V-AFC on my car..
1) Can i turn off the pgm light ?
2) And can i increase my rpm revs using the V-AFC?
Or is it just used to control the vtec engagement point..and air/fuel ratio?
thanks in advance! :)

no i am not using a piggyback because of this problem! i cannot get the correct ecu!! but i need to know if a piggyback will solve the prob?

im pretty sure it wont go away until you have the right ecu,

if your talking about it only reving to like 3k then no i dont think it will. just get the right ecu or have that one converted to a 5 speed

I thought the stock redline was 7200rpm. I wouldn't go any higer than the that unless its built up. Just get a P28 ECU there all over eBay, there should be no reson why you cant get one.

due to the automatic ecu my rpm stops too early .. about 6200 revs!!

No, you can't do anything about that with the V-AFC. And is the ECU that you have even for a D16Z6? Just buy the correct ECU; that will fix all your problems...
