im bout to change my vtec solenoid gaskets because there is a leak i figued id change both so that they are both new, ive never done this before and i was wondering if theres anything special i need to know and if they need to be torqued down ( side ones into head or top bolts) some people say yes and some jus say dont over tighten, thanks
 
that sounds about right. most of hondas torque specs on misc bolts like that are between 7 and 9 ft/lbs.
