    My friend has a d16z6 in his cx hatch and he was wanting to know since hes turboing his car should he use the ex transmission or the cx transmission. the cx trans. has longer gears and he said that he heard you need longer gears when turboing your car.

    No, you don't need longer gears when turbocharging your car. That just makes you slower. Use the EX transmission.

    are the ex gears to short or is that the best transmission for a turbod d16z6

    its the best tranny for any 1/4th mile car...its got quick gears...you need accelartion (sp) in a 1/4 mile not top end....and yes its best to use with a turbo'd Z6 as well
