I just bought a 2001 honda civic dx and im looking to do a swap to a k20.

im fairly new to the honda world and i found a package deal on this site:

JDM ENGINE K20A RSX i-VTEC 02+

is this a fair deal?

also im going to get into more research and get help from friends and what not but how hard is the process? I will have to replace a lot of things so I hope I can get the job done.

Doing a swap in a 92 hatch right now. It is extensive and takes a lot of research/parts.

You can be patient and buy used parts (like mounts, conv harness, K-pro, header, etc) or pay out the butt like I did

Not sure. I think they are fly by wire and there might be cheaper ways in comparison to 92-00 Civics and 94-01 Integras. I think the motors are already reversed.....but that is a guess

^R18. The A18s were in older Accord/Preludes; but technically it was the K20A3(2002 Civic Si). D17s are pretty similar to the older D-series engine, and spin the same way.

01-05 is simpler than the older Civics to swap a K-series into due to less wiring, if any, needed, compatible fuel system, and readily swappable conversion parts(02-05 Si)
