Damien Rice?

anyone ever listened to him? yea i know, welcome to 2003 i guess, but new to me. i just heard him and damn, the songs are awesome for some mellow stuff. its a really good mix of great lyrics and good acoustic guitar. even though his guitar playing might not be on the same level as dave matthews or whatever, i think the lyrics totally make up for it. its a hell of a lot better than the jack Johnson shit everyone is into right now.
