If you go to England, they're everywhere.

In the states...you will probably find one or two imported and legalized...I know I looked for about 6 months, and found 2 or 3. The only way to get one is to import a RHD Cosworth from England.

Dude...I own a 92 Escort GT, and my interior doors look NOTHING like that. Take my word for it. it's a 2000 or up ENGLISH Escort Cosworth.

The years you're thinking of are 91-96, pretty close.

These cars rival the UK Spec Supra TTs...they're often used in illegal street racing. If you ever heard of the series called "Getaway in Stockholm"...in one video (which I think is about 30 minutes long) it features a Cosworth and a Supra dragging around the city getting away from the cops. The supra murdered the Cosworth in the corners, but the Cosworth destroyes the Supra on the straights. And they've both been tuned to 460 hp I think it said.

came out of a 90 gtx......that thing was bad ass....the turbo was upgraded to a 50 trim t3/t4. the tranny was custom build as i couldnt find one that was 2wd. put down 285whp and 250ftlbs tq....lemme tell you it was a well spent swap. never expect a 4dr escort to blow u outta the water! :roll:
