isnt there a wire harness in the dash of a 96 civic ex ---when i convert to a b16 a2 will that harness plug up to the obd2b ecu?

no. you need a 99-00 harness in order for it to plug into an obd2b 99-00 ecu.

you can get a 99-00 DX harness for cheap. convert it to vtec by using that link.
