Dash light problem

    on my sol, only half of the lights on the climate control come on, I smack it a few times, light right up. Try that lol.


    Sounds like a short to me. Is it an OEM cd player? Could be a short in the dimmer circuit.

    I did that too but all my lights went out and they have never came on since now i have been working on taking it out and fixing it but i am too lazy and there is like 12 screws holding it in.

    No for my 95 civic there is like honestly 12 screws all around the climate controls. You have to get screws that are behind the cluster, behind the console and from the glove box i think. There is a lot of work in doing it. I worked on it for about a hour and got tired and put it back together.
