135 PSI in each cylinder

Woah. Woah. Woah. Dude. Woah.

I hope you like rebuilding engines...... That is a 11:1 engine, and you're testing in the 7:1 range. Enjoy. I 'd say it needs more than plugs.

The licenced Honda mechanic said in his description and over the phone they were all balanced and within the limits. I'm not too worried.

you know theres a swap kit to put a s2k momo in 240 right?

What's the point when you can put a turbo'd Nissan motor in it for much cheaper? The S2K motor is awesome, no doubt, but I don't really see the point of buying an expensive kit to put one into a 240 when you can bolt in a factory-turbo'd Nissan motor...

So on Wednesday we are taking the Coho ferry to Port Angeles driving all night and hopefully arriving in California on Thursday morning. taking the S2K to Reno so we don't have to pay the Cali tax. Then taking a one day vacation in Reno then driving back hopefully being back on Sunday. We'll see how it goes.

......and I can drive stick better than my mom.

Is that supposed to be a joke? You will NEVER "drive stick" better than your mom...trust me....I know:rolleyes:

Awesome to hear it's finally goin' down though. Make sure you have enough dough to pick up a good pair of sunglasses.

Hey guys. Just got back from a very nice trip. We had a few setbacks but it was overall nice.

At about 4pm on Wednesday we got on the Coho ferry, slept for an hour and a half. Drove all night then finally crashed for 5 hours in a rest area. Then we got up and drove all we could. Then we got to the car in Roseville (just north of Sacremento) about 3pm. We took one of the dealers assocates to Reno so we didn't have to pay the Cali. tax. From there we got the biggest resort/casino we could find for only $85 for one night. Went to Circus Circus for some games, then ate for dirt cheap. It was going o-so smoothly until the next morning. Instead of taking our Accord down we used my dad's Chevy Astro van that he paid $1000 for. It wen't all the way to Reno fine but when we planned to go to the go-kart track and to wally-mart she took a shit on us.

My dad put it into reverse to back out and usually on a automatic tranny you feel a bit of a thud. Well it didn't do anything. He put a bit of gas to it and it didn't move, he checked to see if it was in gear not on nutreal and for shure it was in gear. We got out and pushed it and we were able to limp it along in the higher gears (1st didn't work aswell. We got it to a transmission shop and he drove it around the block and said the tranny is done. He quoted us $1700 for a complete rebuild and drive away, but it wouldn't be done until Sunday (today). My dad said well we have to get back to Canada, look at out plates. He went to the back room with his employees and came back then said it can be done today. It took his whole shop 6 hours to completly do everything, we were very impressed (at his shop, not at the P.O.S. Chevy).

So we were back on the road again. Basically nothing interesting happened after that. My dad had never drove one before and was very impressed with everything. The handeling is superior, he loves the clutch feel, the short throw shifter and loves revving to 9000rpm! He said 240hp is nice but 300hp would be perfect. Idk, we'll see what happens in the future, maybe a supercharger:ph34r:. The previous owner babied it so much. The car is completly stock and very very clean.

Going through the border and customs wasn't hard but time consuming. We found a nice guy that will do the inspections and not have us do the day light driving lights. YAY:). When we got back to Canada the first thing we did was race a new Golf GTI. 200hp I think, well doesn't matter, we smoked him.:D Here are some pictures:

Here is in California at the dealer (sister in the drivers seat):

I don't mean to slam you guys but the states has a lot of ricers and a lot of trucks, a lot of trucks. Canada is like Japan compared to the states, every 4th car is Japanese. Just an observation. Anyway my dad is very, very happy with his car.

Yup its true, cant go around a corner with a damn civic or corolla, but thats probably everywhere, i havent been to the US much at all and i was too young to be scoping the tuner scene. I wouldnt be surprised.
