I have a 95 del Sol SI I'm thinking of doing a build up on a motor and dropping it in. I'd like to start fresh take the block right down and do a full build up. How hard would it be to get a B16 or a B18 going in the car once I'm done the build up. I'm new to the whole tuning thing for imports, I've built up some chevy's b4, but those had carbs. no ECU

I'm looking for a daily driver w/ some spunk, but i'm looking for a good Cost / Performance Ratio

Any Advice would be great

It's pretty easy really, especially if you're willing to spend the cash on a nice aftermarket bolt in engine mount kit. Buy a HASport bolt in kit and it's literally a bolt in. Your Si is already wired for VTEC, so you wouldn't have to change much. If you're building up the engine before your swap, you could just run a Hondata system (for engine management) on top of your stock ECU too.

No, that's the del Sol VTEC.

del Sol S = D15B7
del Sol Si = D16Z6
del Sol VTEC = B16A2

:werd: to everything calesta said so far
and i would suggest going with a B18
