using dvi isn't going to change the fact that the resolution of the tv sucks compared to a computer monitor...

yes it does make a huge difference, when my roommate bought a 32" JVC lcd it didnt have dvi and we hooked it up with the s-video and the picture suck so bad we could read anything on the screen, so we took the JVC back and bought the Sharp and now the screen is crystal clear.

maybe your resolution sucks but using s-video for the computer sucks ass.

i agree that s-video out from computer to tv sucks.

1280x720 is 1280x720 no matter how you slice it
