Destroking the B20B??

Good morning, I picked up a used B20b from a 99 crv and found that the snout was slightly buggered up. Now from what I've read that all the Bseries stuff swapps out, could I use a B18A crank in the B20b?? Are there Honda pistons/rods that would make this work? Or would I have to get custom parts?

I've made strokers/de-strokers out the older blocks and used all Honda parts. It would be neat if this is would work, and I'd imagine that it would help the rpms also.

Another thing, since the crv was an auto, would my B18a flywheel mount to the B20b? (B20b is a 8-bolt with dowel locator hole)

I'm not looking to race it. Just a potent engine in my D/D civ 4dr.
Thanks in advance. E

b18a/b have the same stroke as the b20. The b20 is an 84mm bore and the b18 is an 81mm bore.

You'd can play with some parts here:

But it wont tell you if you're doing something that requires modification to the block or rods, etc

Thanks alot!! This IS FUN! I can even plug in my old 1200/1500 stuff
I also know of a teg that was stripped of it's rods after they pulled the whole motor apart, leaving Just the crank in the block.
I might get that one too.
