Diesel for Accord

Hi. First post here. Nice site, been lurking for a while as you can see.

Have a 96 Accord EX, nice shape, blown F22B1. Was thinking about a Diesel engine for mileage. They put them in Accords in the UK and a similar body style MG Rover. Tried to get someone over there to talk to me about shipping one over - no dice. Anyone know anything about this?

Otherwise I'll H22a it.

Where you from? I think it'll be hard if not impossible to get it to be "street legal." I would pass on it and try and find a tdi VW.

No emissions in my state. Have a Tdi. For sale.

Not sure if you've googled it, but I just spent about 5 minutes browsing. Since you said emissions isn't an issue, of course it's possible to do. Anything is possible with enough money. There will be a lot of custom fabbing and wiring if you do decide to go the diesel route. Personally, I would pass on it unless you want to be different.
