difference between gsr and b16 heads

i know there was a post about this somewhere but i couldnt find it..

whats the difference in (1) looks of a gsr to b16, i am lookin around for a gsr head but i dont wanna get sold a b16 and get ripped off, also (2) diff in the internals of the gsr compared to the b16 head.

a GSR head says "P72" on it. a b16 head says "PR3" on it. also if you are getting the head with the intake manifold, you will be able to tell easily. the gsr manifold has intake runners with secondaries, the b16 do not. the gsr manifold wont bolt to the b16 head and vice versa.

where does it say that? and im lookin at a b16a2 block what manifolds will i ned, b16 or gsr?

the GSR has a weged combustion chamber thus increasing the CR ratio .2, also about flow patterns, the GSR head flows just a tad more than the b16 head in the midrange and the b16 head will flow some more up top, the differences aren't super noticeable or gain producing, if you running NA and running head to head low 10's then it can hellp.
