ok peeps,
I have a b16a in my 89 crx hf (luvin it) and when it comes down to get replacement parts it is kinda a pain. Since the motor was not used in the states I ask for parts for a 99 civic si with the b16a2. I ahve tried searching so dont reply with that little box that searches for "am i a retard". I just need to know when i call parts stores that either a: i can keep getting parts for the a2 or b: get some info from you guys on where i can get parts for that engine specifically

I would think that most, if not all parts are interchangeable. At least thats what I've been told on here.

98% of the MOTOR parts are interchangeable.
10% of the electronics are.

most belts and hoses are the same, but iacv valves and alternators are not.

So, if you need pistons, the civic si will do... or the 94 del sol vtec b16a3
but if you need a distributor- the above won't work... you'll need to score either a gen 2 teg ls dstriotor, or get a new oem-like dist. like from distributorking.com

The thermostat housing is different, so that may affect the hose length, and or shape.
