Between OBD2 and OBD2b ? does anyone know what they are ?

I know OBD-2B has an Immoblilzer, and I dont think OBD-2(A?) has it.
OBD stands for on board diagonistic system.
obd-0 is 88-91's
obd-1 is 92-95
obd-2 is 96-98
obd-2b is 99-01

88-91 obd0, 92-95 obd1, 96-98 ob2 and 99-01 obd2b for all civics and integras regardless of the make or motor

thanks to hammeredgolfer for that information I've just become aware of. ;)

not all obd2b had immoblizer, only the tegs in 01 (or 00 and 01) had them.

It tells your car not to start is the code in the key doesn't match the reader in the ignition.

obd2b in civics and integras are different.

civics:
96-98 = 2a
99+ = 2b

tegs
96-99 = 2a
00+ = 2b
