So I was lookin at different direct port nitrous kits and I found one that uses an adapter of sorts, Ill try to explain it so please be patient. 
This adapter sits in the fuel injector seat, and has a similar seat in the top of it which the injector now sits in. with everything bolted down, its pretty much just a riser, with 1 small nitrous line and 1 small fuel line, that the injector sits in. i cant find the dimensions on the part, but for the purpose of my question lets say its installed height is 1/4 inch. my question is, what drawbacks would this have? would raising the injector out of the manifold that much cause atomization problems? would any of the negative effects be bad enough that they could be noticed on the street, or would it be minor? thanks in advance for any info.
