Dist. Base + Coil = $450?

Does that sound reasonable, or is that too much? The guy said $190 for the distributor base and $90 for the coil, $130 for labor and tax would be $450... Friday the engine stalled and the car wouldn't start. I checked, no spark... So I have to get that done
 
$450 lol a coil at auto zone is like $50 and the whole distributor w/ coil is about $200...just has no cap or rotor, but those are cheap...i say put it together yourself...it's not hard
 
Sorry, they had to replace the ignitor and the distributor base, not the coil. It's all done now, $430. Have I had a place to do it myself, I would have, once they told me what was wrong. People have posted messages about how it takes long (like a few seconds) for their engine to start when cold. Well, I had the same problem, but now the engine starts right up.
