doe s anyone no if i dx dizzy will work on a vtec motor d series

It should, but what year is the car. Also if you want to make sure you could check car part sites to see if part numbers for a DX is the same as one for a EX, and if they are then you know that they are inter changeable.

it will i have one in my car now 98 d16y8 with the dizzy from my y7 dx motor works just fine
