From what I can tell, a TD-41U is for an obd1 non-vtec, and a TD-42U is for a obd1 vtec d series.....can anyone verify if these two might be interchangable, or point out what exactly the difference is? Thanks in advance.

won't work. the feet won't match up to mount it, and the non-vtec VS vtec distributors are much different.

what motor do you have that you are trying to get a distributor on?

I just bought an EF with a z6 and mpfi conversion. The previous owner was trying to run it off a pm6 and stay obd0, but because I'm thinking it would run better off a P28 and it has very intermittant spark (which I'm thinking is the distributor's fault, has a TD-02U right now), I was going to swap over to obd1.
