Distributor direction???

    Which way is the little "key" suppose to face where it meets up with the camshaft in the head? There is a smooth side, and a side with a slit. When I try it, both sides seem to fit the same.

    Just try it one way, if it doesn't work then flip it around. won't hurt none. And it's so simple

    It's should only go in one way. If it goes in two ways, something is wrong.

    im pretty sure the slit on my h22 ran straight through because we put it on backwards when we swapped the dizzy from my h23.

    just set the motor so the first cylinders top dead center then set the distributor so that the rotors facing top dead and youll know which way it goes

    Well i'm not an h series or f series guy but I know for sure they only go on one way for the d series and b series.
