My brother's Del Sol (D16) is in need of a new cap and rotor. However, he cannot get the old rotor off. He has removed the screw on the underside of the rotor and pulled pretty hard, but it will not come off. Is there something we are forgetting in the removal process or is there any tricks? Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
i got one of those ditributors in my garage somwhere..im gonna go and try to get the rotor off then ill come back and tell you what i find out
 
spray some wd-40 in the hole were the screw came out, and a little on the shaft and tap gentley , then try and remove it.
 
I hope you don't have to do what my father and I had to do on my Civic like 5 years ago. We had to crack the plastic away from the rotor and then use vice grips to get the metal sleeve out.
