distributor swap question?

    will a stock dis. from a d16a6 bolt up to a d16y7? is it possible to mod. them to fit, is it possible to buy just the dis. body?

    D16A6 distributor will bolt right on to a D16Y7 head

    The d16a6 distributor will bolt onto the d16y8 head, BUT you need to run an OBD-1 distributor for VTEC. As well, the OBD-1 distributor HAS to be used with the wiring of an OBD-1 ECU or shit just won't work!. I strongly suggest looking into the d15b7 (OBD-1) distributor, it fits right on from what I hear.
