Distributors In The Crx's-do They Break Alot?

Well if anyone could help me with the topic about the distributors goin bad in the crx's often i would appriciate it i've heard from many crx drivers that they go bad often if anyone has ways to prevent this from happening post it here.

i think the common thing i heard of was the bolt/screw falling out of the rotor

the igniters tend to go bad. in fact the igniters on those year civics were recalled by honda.

I had the screw fall out of mine before. It sucked waiting for 2 horus for a fucking tow to spend 2 minutes at home to put it back in. When you replace your rotor use an allen head screw.
The bearings are known to go bad after awhile. I don't know of a cheap replacement for them. If your distribtuor is making noise get it fixed asap, because my bearing seized on my leaving my car stuck an hour and a half from home.

Thanks for the help i spent money on a tow got it to my house and it was exactly what you guys was saying the screw came out of the rotor and chewed up the distributor cap thanks for the help.
