do i need injector resistor box?need help

hello i have a 95 obd1 del sol with a y7 in it..i am in the middle of doing a mini me using the z6 head complete with z6 injectors..i was wondering if i need to use a injector resistor box with the p28 ecu..the reason y i ask is because i had a 94 civic ex with the z6 in it and it had a injector resistor box...i dont want to burn up my new ecu ...can someone please answer my question..i searched and searched and no one mentions a resistor box in anyones write ups thanks..

You dont need it if your running OBDI injectors.

Maybe it was sitting there, not hooked up?

or for some odd reason somebody swapped in obd0 injectors and decided to wire up a resistor box

yes those are posibil;ities but it didnt come with one like above user stated

measure resistance of one (or all of the injectors one at a time if you want to be thorough) of the injectors; if it's 2-5 Ohms then you need the resistor box, if it's 10-15 Ohms then you don't
