    :confused::confused::confused::confused:

    I am putting my old zc into my friends 88 crx si. I took it out of my 89 crx si to make way for the ls. I need to replace head gasket, clutch, and timing belt. Of course I am unsure which parts to order.

    I ordered a clutch for an 88 crx si with flywheel. I want to use si tranny, It has the zc tranny on it now but it didn't have the intermediate shaft and the long stock axle used to pop out of the tranny. My problem is ordering parts, I use Ebay, and I am not positive which to order as there is alot of differences in zc. This is not my own money I am play with so I would like to get it right the first time. Any guidance would be great, I know the knowledge is here. My motor is dohc with zc stamped on the block, I think it is an 88.

    I ordered the timing belt kit now I need a head gasket, how do you tell the year of the motor. The gasket I saw is for 89-94, I think the motor is 88, so I'm not sure if there is a difference.

    timing belt says that it is for 86-95 JDM Honda ZC 1.6L DOHC 16V or a 86-89 integra 1.6L D16A1 DOHC 16V

    86-89 Integra D16A1 timing belt will not work on the 88-95 JDM DOHC ZC - it will work on the 84-87 JDM DOHC ZC
