I am not sure if someone will get mad if I post this here, but you can move it if it is a problem. So after a year and a half of doin pizza delivery my Accord finally went up in smoke about 2 weeks ago(day before my birthday...LAME!!). So I parked her and was hoping that maybe...just maybe I had a bad radiator cap, or something of the sort. Well, I open the hood and this is what I see...
yes, that m*****f***** is completely melted away.. There is a hole in the resevoir where the pressure found a way out, which is where most of the smoke was coming from. Anways, I figure I "blew" my radiator. So I start tearing it out. At which point I see a stream...yes a stream of coolant running down from the head on the transmission side. So, as most of you know, that would be a headgasket. And of course it was, I pulled the head off today and here is what I found:
**Insert sad smiley here**
So, since I got a Cavalier as a temp car, I have a lot of time to work on it. efhondakid and I are going to do a trade for a H22a head and I am thinking of doing a h22/f22 set-up. Going to find someone to deck the block for me so the compression ratio is good enough for the h22/f22 set-up. Not too sure what the ecu deal is, but more reading and **Searching** is to come. Wish me luck!
