99% of the time just turning the wheel (espically if it is a quick movement) will cause understeer.
the easiest way to get the back out in a fwd car is to slam on the brakes after the car becomes unstable in a corner (what collins friend probably did). even that can cause the understeer tendancy. but with stiffer shocks and a larger rear sway bar it is more likely for this to happen.
