door panel insert help

    How do you take the insert out of the 1993 honda civic door panel? Im talkin about the cloth piece on the door panel. I want to rewrap it another color so how do you take it off the door panel. I have the panel out already. Thanks.

    Razor blades. If your going to put new stuff on, just tear it up. You ain't going to get any money for OEM door cloth! LOL

    isnt there a way to take the whole plastic insert out that the cloth is glued to?

    ya look at the back you will see plastic spot welds cut them off

    if you break those plastic welds....then how the hell do you re-attach it to the door panel??? :huh: :unsure:

    Go to home depot, look for some Gorilla Glue, should work out great for ya~!
