Drag Racing Rear Axel Straigt Or Not

I have a 89 tegra rear axel sitting in the garage corner and i loooked at it it will be easy to bolt in but the question is is it worth it ?
how much better wil my launches be has anyone used a straight axel letme know if you have if you havent the dont tell me why you wouldnt

pointless dude... just get stronger spring rates for the rear
