Drag Strip Alternate (Cheap) material to Pavement

    Im planning to build a drag strip soon, but i dont have enough money to pave the strip, and i cant leave it as a dirt road, its too dangerous, so i wanted to ask if anyone knew of an alternative compound that could replace pavement to certain deegree, like a mixture between gravel, sand and select material (used on the layer beneath the floor of certain houses).

    ummm i would say dont even bother unless you could pave it. I wouldnt race on anything not paved.

    yah, doing it the cheap way would probably end up doing two things...1) A lot of cars sliding around and crashing...2)your dragstrip falling apart, and you have to pay MORE money to repave it the right way...just pave it...

    i think it would be expensive as hell to make your own.... plus depending where your you need permits and shit cuz race tracks are loud

    LOOK INTO THE COST OF THE LIABILITY INSURANCE

    ooh, and have you price checked a timing device and christmas tree setup???
