DUMB Q: How do i make sure my sig lighter works?

How do i test to see if my Sig lighter works/still supplies power (i think its busted).

I DO NOT have the sig lighter unit as i do not smoke, but i require the outlet for the AXAS SHIFT INDICATOR i am considering buying . . . i want to make sure the lighter works BEFORE i buy the product.

any suggestions? thanks a lot

BUMB - anybody got an idea other than sticking my finger in there?

put a meter on it? or just go and borrow someone else's cig lighter and stick it in there
