DVD players, mine's dead

So I got a good four years out of my Panasonic Progressive Scan DVD player. Well I'm looking for a new player that upconverts via component video (not hdmi) anyone know if someone make a player with such an option, I'd like to make better use of my 52" panasonic wide screen.

well I've found these two:

get a new tv? lol

component is an analog connection. in order to get true picture quality, you need to go hdmi/dvi/denon link.

DVD $150 Vs New TV $2500+ , I think I'll go woth the new DVD player, considering it's dead

understood. but you're probably not going to be able to tell a difference between 480 and 720p over component.
